William Shakespeare is for centuries most iconic figure in the world of theatre. But what about his plays? Does everyone recognize the iconic characters, which Shakespeare made up? Imagine a story, where the merchant of Venice and the merry wives of Windsor meet at the Twelfth night. During the Tempest Midsummer night dream. King Lear recites sonnets, Antonius winks on Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet are hiding behind the curtains. Story where the Danish prince meets the first lady of Scotland. Or just appear at a king’s birthday party where two comedians perform The Winter´s tale.

Show offers a cross-section through the most significant plays of W. Shakespeare and encourages to its deeper recognition. The play is making a complex perspective for better understanding, introduces the characters and archetypes and even a rareness of Shakespeare himself. In historical context, in historical theatre, by traditional methods in beautiful costumes. But in a modern interpretation and comments, which make it closer to the present.
